Trade Terms & Conditions

Canziz operates as a trade and wholesale platform connecting business buyers directly with Moroccan artisans. By requesting a quote or placing an order you agree to the terms below.

1. Trade-only orders

Products are sold on a business-to-business basis in line with each item's minimum order quantity (MOQ). Indicative pricing shown on the site becomes firm only once a written quote is issued against your specification.

2. Quotes & orders

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. An order is confirmed on receipt of your written approval and any agreed deposit. Sample approval is required before bulk production begins.

3. Handmade variation

All goods are made by hand. Reasonable variation in colour, size and finish is inherent to authentic craft and is not a defect. Dye-lots are matched across batches where applicable.

4. Pricing & payment

Prices are quoted in the currency stated and exclude destination duties and taxes. Payment terms are set in your quote.

5. Lead times

Lead times are estimated from sample approval and confirmed per order. We notify you promptly of any material change.

6. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Privacy Policy

We collect only the information needed to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and fulfil trade orders.

What we collect

Contact and company details you provide when requesting a quote or opening a trade account, plus order and correspondence history.

How we use it

To process quotes and orders, arrange freight, and keep you informed about your enquiries. We do not sell your data.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your details by contacting us.

Shipping & Freight

Orders ship worldwide by container and consolidated freight from Casablanca.

Methods

We arrange sea freight, and air or courier for samples and smaller consignments, selecting the option that fits your timeline and volume.

Duties & documents

Quoted prices exclude destination duties and import taxes. We provide the commercial documents required for customs clearance at your port.

Risk & delivery

Incoterms are agreed per order. Transit times are estimates confirmed once your consignment is booked.

Returns & Refunds

Because goods are made to order for trade buyers, our returns approach reflects bespoke, handmade production.

Made-to-order goods

Bulk orders produced to an approved sample are not returnable for reasons of natural handmade variation, which is inherent to authentic craft.

Damage or error

If goods arrive damaged in transit or differ materially from your approved specification, notify us within 14 days of delivery with photographs and we will arrange a remedy, replacement or credit.

Claims

Freight-related damage should also be noted on the carrier's delivery paperwork to support any claim.

Sample Policy

Samples let you confirm quality, colour and finish before committing to a bulk order.

Ordering samples

Samples are charged at a per-piece rate plus shipping, and lead times are quoted at the time of order.

Approval

Written sample approval sets the reference standard for your bulk production. Bulk goods are matched to the approved sample within normal handmade tolerance.

Sample credit

Where agreed in your quote, sample costs may be credited against a subsequent bulk order.

Required for core functions such as navigation, quote requests and account areas. These cannot be switched off.

IP & Authenticity

Every piece is made by a verified Moroccan artisan partner, and we protect both their work and your orders.

Authentic craft

We work directly with the makers. Designs, motifs and techniques remain the intellectual property of their respective artisans and of Canziz where applicable.

Your specifications

Bespoke designs you commission are treated as confidential and are not offered to other buyers without your agreement.

If you believe our work or yours has been copied or misrepresented, contact us and we will investigate.
